I create outdoor spaces for clients who believe in a lifestyle that thrives in the outdoors. I listen to their needs and have the vision to create an outdoor space that complements their property and surroundings. I can help them invest in and maximise their garden by making it inviting, secluded and tailored it to them.
A bit about me
Having studied ecology as an undergraduate, I am passionate about the natural landscape and when not designing gardens, I love getting out into the wilds and exploring the mountains, lochs and oceans and sleeping under canvas. I lived in Australia for 7 years before retraining as a garden designer at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh.
Blossoming Garden Garden Design
The studio germinated 12 years ago and has grown and flourished since then, building up an extensive portfolio across Edinburgh, East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. I have been assessed by the Society of Garden Designers accreditation committee to qualify as a Registered Member of the Society of Garden Designers. This means I subscribe to the highest professional standards and have committed to continual development of their knowledge and skills.
I work with a network of skilled contractors, craftsmen, specialists, nurseries and gardeners, to create beautifully crafted gardens that are tailored to my client’s specific requirements and resonate with the surrounding landscape. I realise all aspects of their garden project from initial concept to completed garden in a seamless, structured and timely way.
