We approached Becca at Blossoming Gardens to help us redesign the front and back garden in the house we had just moved into. The front had lawn and borders with some poorly maintained shrubs, and the back was mostly concrete and astroturf. Becca helped us design a productive front garden with laid out raised beds, espalier trees and soft fruit plants, while in the back she designed a space with a pond, different seating areas and connecting paths, maximising the space and making it secluded and relaxing.
We felt our requirements were all listened to fully and the feedback on the initial plans was acted on considerately. We had some budget considerations and the plans were adjusted accordingly without fuss. The vision she provided in the plans came together really well and we’re really happy with the result.
We also asked for a plant maintenance plan to be provided; Becca drew this up and provided us with easy instructions for maintaining the plants, many of which are new to us.

Becca Duncan of Blossoming Gardens Garden Design has twice given us Garden Consultation which has had an uplifting effect on our back garden. She designed our new patio area and revitalised the surrounding beds and plants incorporating new lighting to enhance both the twilight and night appearance.

Becca at Blossoming Gardens Garden Design did a terrific job for us, and has transformed the look of our front garden. What was a mono-blocked eyesore is now a lovely space – it looks bigger and has so far given a lovely range of colours as the seasons change.
Becca helped us (a pair of garden novices) to understand what we would like and what would work in the space, using pictures of previous projects and plants to patiently build a design. She was very helpful with the materials – cobbles for a path and borders, sandstone for a new wall and gravel for the driveway.
Becca engaged the Promised Landscapes to do the hard work of removing the mono-blocks, laying all the new landscaping and building the new garden wall. They were fantastic and very friendly. She also found us a blacksmith to make new gates at very reasonable cost, and she made sure the project was progressing properly.
We are delighted with the results of Becca’s work and heartily recommend her service.

After many attempts to find a designer who would take on our difficult hillside garden, we were very pleased to have found Becca. This was a complex project but Becca tackled it with professionalism. She had to attend quite a lot of project meetings with the firm who constructed the garden and they were impressed with her plans and technical knowledge. I would absolutely recommend Blossoming Gardens Garden Design. We had a concrete jungle in our back garden and a sloped front garden which we had no idea what to do with. Becca listened to our (limited) thoughts and took these on board. She came up with a wonderfully creative planting and decking scheme, which we loved. She also sourced the plants, arranged delivery and planted it all up so there was no work at all for us! We are amazed at the transformation. We now have a beautiful back garden which is like an extra room for us, with all year round foliage as we had asked for.
