A new front garden path, laid using natural sandstone setts, guides visitors towards the front door. Gentle curves flow naturally between the different areas of the garden, creating a sense of movement and connection throughout the space.
The shed, summer house and studio were all painted in anthracite grey to unify the overall design. This provides a contemporary backdrop to the planting scheme. Against this darker palette, the soft and harmonious planting becomes even more vibrant and immersive.
This is now a much loved garden with spaces designed for relaxation and everyday enjoyment. In the mornings, the owners can enjoy breakfast on the terrace surrounded by fragrant roses and the gentle trickle of water. Later in the day, the summer house offers a cosy retreat where they can relax, even on cooler evenings.
