A design for a coastal garden with gabion wall
This charming fishing cottage had just been renovated and a garden building had been constructed. The clients were looking to create a coastal garden that would complement their new property and enhance their lifestyle. We took inspiration from the surrounding environment when designing this garden.
As the garden sloped down steeply at one side, we constructed a gabion wall to create two separate outdoor spaces. The gabion wall emulated the wall down by the harbour to connect this garden to it’s surroundings. The steps were a nod to the beach huts along the coast.
