Creating an outdoor living space
This garden was designed for clients who truly embrace outdoor living. They wanted their garden to become an extension of their home and lifestyle.
A raised deck positioned just outside the kitchen door allows them to step easily into the morning sunshine. Here they can enjoy a coffee with expansive views across the Lammermuir Hills.
Elsewhere in the garden, a more secluded space was created specifically for relaxation and wellbeing. This provides a peaceful setting for yoga and quiet reflection.
As the day unfolds, the garden becomes a place to unwind and socialise. The clients can enjoy long soaks in the hot tub, relax in the sauna and shower outdoors surrounded by soft, immersive planting.
In the evenings, the space transforms again — a place to gather with friends and family, sizzle sausages the barbecue, open a few beers and settle beside the warmth of the fire pit as the sun goes down.
